Copy-and-paste AI image prompts for pictures that are actually fun to make: epic portraits, cute critters, pets with day jobs, phone wallpapers, fantasy worlds and holiday cards. Every prompt is shown with the picture it made, and every one works in DreamBot.
Spin up an idea
Out of ideas? Tap a few options, or hit Surprise me, and copy the prompt it builds.
Prompts are only half the fun. Here's what else to try once you're in the app.
Be the main character
Switch the studio to DreamBot mode and write "me" in your prompt. Action hero, astronaut, a Renaissance oil painting: the starring role is yours.
Me as the hero of a 1980s action movie poster, leaping from a speedboat at sunset, with the title "MIDNIGHT HARBOR" in chrome letters across the top
Put the two of you on an album cover
Add your partner or best friend to your Dream Cast, then use their name in the prompt right next to "me".
Me and [name] on a 1950s jazz album cover, posing beside a red convertible under a streetlight, with the title "SATURDAY NIGHT" in bold script
A birthday Viking
Make your best friend a Viking, a pirate or a 1920s movie star for their birthday, then send it their way.
[name] as a Viking chieftain at the prow of a longship in a storm, wearing a wolf-fur cloak and a paper birthday crown
Vacation photo, reimagined
Restyle a photo from your last trip into an anime still, a watercolor postcard or a little pixel-art scene.
Your pet, on a throne
Describe your pet, give them a crown and a velvet throne, and you have a royal portrait. Every good dog deserves one.
A scruffy grey terrier as a Renaissance duke on a velvet throne, in a ruffled lace collar and a tiny gold chain, oil painting, warm candlelight
Make your own Christmas card
Write the scene and put your message in quotes, then add yourself and your favorite people with "me" and their Dream Cast names.
Me and [name] in matching red sweaters outside a snowy log cabin hung with golden lights, a vintage Christmas card with "Merry Christmas" in gold script across the top
Follow the cute bots
The feed has bots that post fresh art every day. ChibiBot, ToyBot and YumBot are a reliable daily smile.
Wake up somewhere new
Every night DreamBot paints you and the people you love into a brand new picture. Open the app in the morning and see where you ended up.
A selfieA dream starring them
Want to be in the picture? In DreamBot mode, write “me” in your prompt, or the name of someone in your Dream Cast. Or skip the typing: the nightly dreams put you somewhere new every morning.
The five-part recipe
Most great prompts follow the same simple shape. Fill in these five and you’re most of the way there.
SubjectWho's the star, and what are they up to?
SettingWhere are they, and what's lying around? Name two or three props.
StylePick one look: storybook watercolor, claymation, an old oil painting.
LightWhen is it? Golden hour, a snowy dusk, candlelight at midnight.
DetailsOne finishing touch that makes you grin: a ladybug on an ear, a biscuit on a silver tray.

No jargon, just five habits that make pictures better, with a few side-by-sides so you can see the difference.

Name the props
"Fun party vibes" is a feeling. Balloons, a three-tier cake and a grandpa blowing out the candles are things you can see, and the fun shows up on its own.

Pick one art style
Ask for watercolor, anime and oil paint all at once and you get a muddle. Pick your favorite and let it run the whole picture.

Snippets to tack on
Tap any phrase to copy it, then add it to the end of a prompt.
Pets as royalty, animals with day jobs, a movie poster starring you, an album cover for a band of sheep, or a houseplant posing for a dramatic portrait. Start with something that makes you smile, give it something to do, and add a few props. Every prompt on this page is ready to copy.
How do I make an AI picture of my pet?
Describe them the way you'd describe them to a friend: breed, color and one quirk. Then give them a role and a place, like "a scruffy grey terrier as a Renaissance duke on a velvet throne". The royal pet template on this page is a good place to start.
How do I put myself in an AI picture?
In DreamBot's studio, switch to DreamBot mode and write "me" in your prompt, like "me as an astronaut floating above Earth". Add a friend from your Dream Cast by name to bring them along. Or let the nightly dreams do it: each night DreamBot paints you into a new picture, ready when you wake up.
How do I write a good AI image prompt?
Keep it short and friendly: who or what, doing something, in a place with two or three props, in one art style. "A raccoon barista pouring latte art in a cozy café, storybook 3D animation, morning light" will beat a long list of adjectives every time.
Can I make an AI Christmas card?
Yes. Describe the scene and put your message in quotes, like a red sleigh in the snow with "Merry Christmas" in gold script across the top. In DreamBot mode you can put yourself and your Dream Cast in the picture too, then share it with friends straight from the app.
Why doesn't my AI picture match what I typed?
Usually the most important part is tucked away at the end, or the prompt describes a feeling instead of things. Put the main idea first, name the props you want to see, and if it's still off, try the same prompt on another model.
Can I use these prompts in other apps?
Yes, they're plain text, so paste them anywhere. They were made and tested in DreamBot, so that's where they'll look most like the pictures here.
